David Lowenstein

Chairs the Board of Directors and has been a member since May 2007. Mr. Lowenstein, 46, is President of Federated Network Technologies, a start-up software company. He co-founded SOURCECORP, Incorporated (formerly known as F.Y.I. Incorporated), a business process outsourcing and consulting firm, and served in a variety of positions: Director, Executive Vice President Corporate Development, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Mr. Lowenstein received his Honors Bachelor of Arts from Sir Wilfred University and a Master of Science of Public Policy and Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University.

Jeffrey R. Crisan

Joined our board in July 2007. He has held various roles within Bain Capital Ventures, including Director. Mr. Crisan, 34, also worked in Bain Capital's Private Equity group from 1998 to 2000, and as a consultant with Bain & Company. He currently serves on the company boards of Accelecare Wound Centers, Inc., Enclarity, Inc., Eyetel Imaging, Inc., Liberty Dialysis, LLC, Nanosphere, Inc., Ricerca, LLC and SolarWinds.net, Inc. Mr. Crisan received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Dartmouth College.

Robert E. Evanson

Has served as a director of our company since June 2005. Since 2003, Mr. Evanson has been a Senior Advisor to Apax Partners, Inc., a $19 billion private equity company, and a special advisor to The Parthenon Group, a strategic consulting firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Evanson, 70, also worked forThe McGraw-Hill Companies, a global information services provider and publisher, for 11 years, holding a variety of senior management positions, including: President of McGraw-Hill Education, its educational publishing unit; Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, McGraw-Hill Education; President of McGraw-Hill's Higher Education and Consumer Group; Executive Vice President, Corporate Development for The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc.; and Executive Vice-President, Chief Financial Officer for the School Publishing Group of McGraw-Hill. Mr. Evanson also held various posts at Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, Inc., including Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer. He serves on the boards of New York Institute of Technology, Western Governors University, National Executive Service Corps, The Wellness Community and Pace University's Publishing Advisory Board. A graduate of St. John's University, he holds an MBA from New York Institute of Technology.

Richard Katzman

Has served as a director of our company since 1985. Mr. Katzman is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Kaz, Inc., a manufacturer of consumer appliances. From 1987 to 1997, Mr. Katzman, 50, also served as President of Kaz, Inc. Mr. Katzman is the brother of John S. Katzman, our company's founder. Mr. Katzman received a BA from Brown University.

Michael Krupka

Joined the board in July 2007. Mr. Krupka, 42, also serves as a Managing Director of Bain Capital Ventures. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director with the Private Equity Group of Bain Capital, focusing his investing activities on technology and technology- driven companies, including software, hardware, database and telecommunication services. Previously, he was part of Information Partners, a Bain Capital fund focused on early-stage information technology investing, and a consultant with Bain & Company. He currently serves on the company boards of DataSynapse, Inc., E5 Systems, Inc., Enservio, Inc., Fingerhut Direct Marking, Inc., Invoke Solutions, Inc., iPay Technologies, Inc., La La Media, Inc., Liberty Dialysis, LLC, TravelCLICK, Inc., vAuto, Inc., and Vonage Holdings Corp. Mr. Krupka graduated Dartmouth College.

Michael Perik

Became a director, President and CEO of The Princeton Review in 2007, succeeding John Katzman, the Company's founder. In 2006, Mr. Perik, 49, sold the company he headed, Achievement Technologies, to Houghton Mifflin, and then served as its Chairman of the Assessment Division. Mr. Perik was also Chairman and CEO of The Learning Company. A graduate of The University of Toronto and Harvard University, he serves as Treasurer of Rhode Island Hospital and a director of the John F Kennedy Presidential Library in Boston.

Linda Whitlock

Linda Whitlock joined our board of directors in April 2009. Ms. Whitlock was the Nicholas President and Chief Executive Officer of Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, a non-profit organization that provides affordable, high-impact programs to at-risk youth, from 1999 to 2008. Before that, Ms. Whitlock has held administrative positions at, and been a member of the faculties of, Buckingham Browne & Nichols School and Concord Academy in Massachusetts. She has also taught at MIT, Tufts and the University of Michigan. Ms. Whitlock currently serves on the boards of Cambridge Trust Company, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Brandeis University, Boston World Partnerships, the Boston Museum, and Boston Afterschool and Beyond. Ms. Whitlock received an A.B. in psychology from Mount Holyoke College and an A.M. in Psychology from the University of Michigan
